How to Commission
Clarification of Cognitive Commissioning:
Orders that exceed a reasonable time (~30 minutes) will be charged a service fee for my time. To avoid these extra fees please: 1. Tell me you need assistance with commissioning. 2. Have all of your resources ready upon ordering.
Avoid ordering when you are busy, at work, school, do not have time to reply.
Example Commission:
“Hello I would like to commission an Icon. Here is my character reference sheet (link.) I would like to add rendering, my budget is $50, so whatever that gets me is fine. Default background is fine. I would like my character to be happy, with their tongue sticking out. My paypal is (email here) I have read your Terms of Service, and agree to it. If needed, my contact/social is (link.)”
How not to commission:
- Not providing a character reference image (does not have to be a sheet. Text descriptions are okay.)
- Demanding an ETA or TAT (some deadline.)
- Not reading the TOS.
- Commissioning for a friend without proof of consent.
- Rude or any unsolicited behavior. (We uphold the right to refuse service.)
- Be under 18. (No exceptions, ever.)
- Commissioning without an idea (unless you grant FULL creative freedom.)
- Sharing TMI, which is irrelevant to the commission.
- Not having a valid paypal account.
